You should receive an email from [email protected] with instructions to reset your password. Don’t forget to scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save. Do I need to download the HOGSCAN app?
No, it’s completely optional. The HOGSCAN app is primarily used by Chapter Officers and Ride Leaders to check-in members present for rides or events. You can always add a short-cut to our chapter website on your home screen to access it from your mobile phone.

Chapter Membership Frequently Asked Questions:
Do I need to have National Harley Owners Group membership to be a member of my Local Harley Owners Group Chapter?
Yes, you must have an ACTIVE National Harley Owners Group or Passenger membership to be a member of your Local Harly Owner's Group Chapter.
What If I have the free H-D Membership, does that count?
No, you must upgrade to an ACTIVE National Harley Owners Group or Passenger membership to be a member of your Local Harly Owner's Group Chapter.
Can I be a member of more than one Local Harley Owners Group Chapter?
Yes, you can be a member of more than one local chapter.
How often do I need to sign a Chapter Membership Enrollment Form and Release?
When joining your local chapter, new members MUST fill out and hand-sign and date a Chapter Membership Enrollment and Release before participating in chapter rides or events. Current local chapter members must fill out and hand-sign and date a new Chapter Membership Enrollment and Release starting the first day of January every year before participating in chapter rides or events.
What if I just filled out and hand-signed and dated a Chapter Enrollment Form and Release when I joined or renewed last month?
Every active local chapter member's release expires on midnight on the First of January, therefore we all must all fill-out and sign a new release on or after the First of January. We traditionally have a chapter event on New Years Day, where we meet at our sponsoring dealership to sign new release forms.
Do I need to fill out and hand-sign and date a new release when I renew my membership, when I already signed one for the current year?
Technically no, but it is encouraged so that the Membership Officer can update your contact information if it has changed.
Do you still mail out reminders and new local membership cards every year?
Unfortunately, due to rising postal rates we could not continue this renewal process. To save the Chapter money for End of the Year parties and donations, we decided to forgo sending out renewal mail and new membership cards. Instead, members can track their renewal date by logging in to their account on this website and Chapter Officers use the HOGSCAN app to check-in members to chapter events. We also send out renewal reminder emails to the same email address that they receive weekly newsletters to. We do not remove anyone from the local chapter roster, unless they are over 60 days overdue, or their National HOG membership has expired.
Other options for tracking your renewal due date is to add an event to your calendar app on your mobile phone, or write it down on you National HOG membership card.
